11-30 From the campgrounds we wandered West toward Bella Vista which was one of our planned stops. We were traveling thru some beautiful and interesting country however we were noticing a strange odor. We had noticed it for miles reminded me of growing up on the farm?? Hmmmm 
Yup, that answers that , we have never seen so many chicken housing facilities in our life, we thought for awhile we had gotten in back of a manure truck, I can’t imagine what it is like in the summer. And the sign below it "Football" it is the king down here, for some of the high school coaches it is there only job and some of the stadiums remind you of college stadiums.
One of the things we like about these small towns is the center town square.
We arrived in Eureka Springs and decided to wander around a little, This was the end of their tourist season and we had seen many motel offers on the way in. We also found out that this was to be the evening of their annual Christmas parade. We left the visitors center and drove to a lookout. Big Mistake?
