It seems that many of you are as new to reading a blog as I'm to writing one so we will learn together. Via my email contacts I have had inquiries on how they can Comment and to be informed when I publish a new post.
Comments, We enjoy hearing from you, and it is easy to comment.
If you are reading in a multiple page format, between the posts you will see a page break and either no comments or the # of comments,
if you click on comment you will be given a blank Post a comment page
that you can type in. Just below that you must select a profile from
the drop down menu. Many of you have been able to comment and probably
weren’t aware of it. If you have a gmail account which is google you
can click on that and publish it. Or it is very easy to set up a gmail
account. You then can click on the profile, next hit publish. I have
added an anonymous profile to allow everyone to comment.
Following a Blog Due to the fact that we are posting during our current trip, time and internet availability dictate our posting dates. Subscribing will keep you informed when we publish a new post. Also I find that the more we ride and have new experiences I tend to fall behind. I apologize. However rest assured I'm keeping good notes and pictures and will publish as time allows.
On the left side under our profile picture I have added two widgets. ( yup, another new blog word.)
Follow by Email: The easiest one first, simply type in your email address type in the security check letters as prompted and you will be notified when a new post appears. Update March 23, 2017 Thanks to our new neighbor in Mesa AZ who tried to read it on her smart phone. If you are using a smart phone it will probably be displayed in the mobile mode. Simply scroll to the bottom of the page and just above the dark area that says Vern & Ruthie you will see "View web version". Select that and the version will appear with subscribe and the follow by email widget. Thanks Jani!
Following a Blog Subscribe:
Subscribe to posts and
comments thru a Feed Reader: It is a useful tool to keep you updated,
especially if you read several blogs. Do a search, there are several,
google reader is one. Some of the browsers have a small orange icon to
make it easy to subscribe.
( that seemed easy however you non-computer readers will understand why I spent a day and 1/2 researching and adding it to my blog. This should get you started. As I gain more knowledge I will update the home based static page. ) Now back to the important stuff, riding and posting.
Thanks for your input.
My ETA guess is: 3:17 pm. Denis
ReplyDeleteDenis, nice to see you again, you were actually pretty close, we arrived home at 4:11 PM
DeleteI posted this on Facebook last night:
We made it. Over 10,000 miles, over 120 days on a trike , 10 states, at least 5 forts, 1 Aircraft carrier, 1 slippery bridge, 2 dust storms, 1 blizzard, countless amazing friends, countless hotel yogurts . Stuck in the snow ten feet from the deck . Priceless! Thanks for all the well wishes. We appreciate them all. We are home safe and warm .
and yes I will finish the blog reports!
Followed your humble/bumble piece. Now that is some fine work. Discovered this site just this morning, so gotta put it in favs for later.

Thanks Bill, Strange that I was working on it as you were leaving a comment. Trying to be quiet so as to not disturb my co-rider. In a few days I hope to have this up to date. We are currently on our winter trip in North Carolina. Heading your way by January 2014. The trike; We wish we would have found them years before we did, just love them.
DeleteRide safe and often.
